[Waterloo Evening Courier, Wednesday, May 28, 1919]

Funeral services for Clarence D. Marquis, whose death occurred yesterday at his home near Cedar Falls, will be at 2:30 p. m. Thursday at the Hileman & Gindt chapel. Rev. N. S. Methfessel will be in charge with burial in Fairview.

Notes

Mr. Marquis was a foreman in the employee of the Waterloo, Cedar Falls & Northern Railway, and Mrs. Marquis was employed in the carpet department of the Paul Davis store.

Children: Daughter -Leta B. (Marquis) Hansen
Sons:
Harold Marquis, March 23, 1897-June 4, 1911 -drowned at age 14.
Clayton Leon Marquis Aug. 26, 1906-June 8. 1907, died of bronchitis at age 9½ mo.
Floyd Marquis, Dec. 22, 1900 - 3 yr, died Jan. 14, 1904 of typhoid fever.
