Mrs. Susan A. Beatty died at her home, 110 Irving street, Wednesday evening at about 6 o'clock after a lingering illness of cancer. She was 45 years of age, and had resided in this city for two years.

Her husband, Wm. Beatty, is an Illinois Central employe.

Besides her husband, she leaves two children to mourn her death.

Funeral services were held at the home this afternoon conducted by Rev. Beaman. Interment in Fairview.
