Jane Ames Bailey, 90, of Laporte, Minn., died Jan. 8, 2013, in Bemidji, Minn.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday in Walker, Minn.

Jane May Ames was born June 12, 1922, in Minneapolis. Jane married Jim Bailey on July 2, 1948. They settled in Cedar Falls in 1950, remaining there until 1984 when Jim retired as the treasurer of the University of Northern Iowa. Jane retired after 20 years from Allen Memorial Hospital, Waterloo. While living in Cedar Falls, Jane was an active member of the United Church of Christ.

Survived by three daughters, Barbara Bailey of Oviedo, Fla., Dr. Beverly (John) Hargraves of Lexington Park, Md., and Dr. Bonnie Bailey of Bemidji.
