Marguerite A. James, 92, of Janesville, died Friday, March 12, 1999, at her niece's home of natural causes.

She was born Feb. 21, 1907, in Waterloo, daughter of Henry and Maude Condon Gindt. She married Ralph Windolf; they were later divorced. She then married E. Jim James in Las Vegas; he preceded her in death.

Survived by two sisters, DeVota Waltemeyer of Waterloo and Dolores LaPole of Des Moines.

Preceded in death by a son, James Windolf; and a sister, Bernice Frye.

Memorial services: 11 a.m. Tuesday at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, with burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Family will greet friends for an hour before services at the church. Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service/West Ridgeway is in charge of arrangements.
