Larry L. Minks, 59, of Waterloo, died Friday, April 27, 2001 at Convenant Medical Center from complications of cancer.

He was born June 20, 1941, in Runnels, son of Harold E. and Mary I. Smith Minks. He married Wanda Talbott in Waterloo in 1987. Mr. Minks was a truck driver for many years.

Survived by his wife; a son, Brian Schultz of Rome, Iowa; a daughter, Judy Hurt of Cedar Rapids; six grandchildren; a brother, LeRoy of Waterloo, and a sister, Rosalind Offield of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by his parents.

Services: 2 p.m. Monday at Garden View Chapel, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today and for an hour before services Monday at the chapel.
