FRENCH, SHUPE, TYE, OCONNOR

CEDAR FALLS, IOWA - Services for William Charles French, 67, of 4215 Heritage Road, will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Immanuel Baptist Church with burial in Garden of Memories. He died at his home Sunday morning of cancer.

He was born June 17, 1911, in Gettysburg, S.D., son of William and Mary Tye French. He married Margaret Shupe June 17, 1934, in Riceville. He served in the Army during World War II and was a retired supervisor at John Deere Waterloo Tractor Works.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Charles C. of 5341 Foulk Road, Waterloo, Arlan R. of 3128 Rocky Road, Waterloo, and Rickie M. of Cedar Rapids; a daughter, Mrs. Cheryl O'Connor of 4215 Heritage Road; a brother, Judson of Runge, Texas; and nine grandchildren.

Friends may call at Locke Funeral Home after noon Tuesday.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or First Baptist Church of Berthoad, Colo.
