March 19, 1928-January 5, 2013

Joseph W. Zobeck, 84 of Keosauqua, Iowa, passed away on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at the Good Samaritan Society in Keosauqua, Iowa.

Joseph was born on March 19, 1928 in Cresco, Iowa, the son of Wesley and Margret (Polansky) Zobeck. He was raised and went to school in the area. On July 28, 1960 he married Mary (Lucas) Cole in Preston, Minnesota. He worked at John Deere in Waterloo, Iowa until he retired.

He is survived by two daughters, Mavis Severson of Washburn, Iowa, and Nancy Tibbets of Evansdale, Iowa, and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Mary, sons, Daniel Zobeck, Earl Cole, Alfred Cole, Roger Cole, and one daughter, Marlene Matthews, two sisters, Gladys Novak and Evelyn Murray.

Service: Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Lindstrom Funeral Home in Cresco, IA. Friends may call one hour prior to services.
