At the ripe old age of 72 years, Mrs. Elizabeth Dahl, widow of Frederick Dahl, who died in 1895, passed away at 9:15 o'clock last night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Buehner, at the east end of Webster Street.

Mrs. Dahl was born March 23, 1829, at Zwelbracken, near Strasburg, Bavaria, Germany. Her maiden name was Elizabeth Freiler.

She was married to Frederick Dahl Nov. 20, 1845, and the couple came to America in 1856, settling at Pottsville, Pa., where they lived until 1872. They then came west and settled in East Waterloo Township where she has lived since, and where her husband died six years ago.

The deceased has ten children living. They are: Mesdames Kate Buehner, Maggie Scheuer, Tillie Pickens, Mary Danner, and Mrs. Higley live at Minneapolis and the other daughters are living here. The sons are: Fred, Charles and Frank of Waterloo and W.H. Dahl of Savanna, Ill.

The funeral services will be held Sunday at the home at 1:30 and at teh German Evangelical church at 2 o'clock. The services will be conducted by Rev. Zellhoefer and the interment will be in Fairview Cemetery.
