Geo. Dunning is Laid to Rest in Fairview Cemetery.

The remains of George Dunning, who died in Chicago Monday, arrived in Waterloo for burial this morning and were removed from the train to Hosteler's undertaking parlors where Funeral Services were held at 2 o'clock this afternoon.

Mr. Dunning was a prominent Knight of Pythias in Chicago, and the pall bearers at the service were selected from members of the local lodge of the order. The casket was covered with flowers as it lay in the undertaking parlors and among the tributes of love were many beautiful designs. The services were conducted by Rev. T. M. Evans of Grace M. E. church and the interment was in Fairview Cemetery, beside the father and mother of the deceased.

Mr. Dunning was a member of Progress Lodge No. 306, K. of P.

Mrs. Lillie M. Cullen of Chicago, a sister of Mrs. Dunning, and Mrs. Ruby M. Sumner, a, cousin of the deceased, accompanied the remains from Chicago.

The deceased leaves besides his wife, whose health would not permit her to attend the funeral, a two-year-old daughter.
