Orla G. Moseley
of Hudson Dies

HUDSON, IA.—Orla G. Moseley, 71, a farmer near here, died Thursday at 4:30 p. m. at Presbyterian Hospital in Waterloo. He had been in ill health since suffering a severe heart attack a year ago last November.

Born June 29, 1869. on a farm in Illinois, he was a fruit farmer in Missouri at the time of his marriage to Iola Hollis in Hudson March 14, 1894. The couple returned to farming in Missouri for five years until they moved to the farm known as Rose Hill two and one-half miles west of Hudson. There Mr. Moseley became a breeder of Shorthorn cattle, and was active in Farm Bureau work up until the time of his death.

He was a member of the Federated church.

Surviving are the widow; a daughter, Mrs. Nellie Poe. 515 Home Park Boulevard, Waterloo; a son
Hollis, at home; a brother, Gay, of Dunkerton. la.; two sisters, Mrs. J. E. Barton of Lenter, Mo., and Mrs. Carrie Highfill of Marshfield, Mo.: and one grandchild.

One daughter, Mae, died in 1915.

The body was taken to the O'Keefe & Towne funeral home in Waterloo. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p. m. Sunday at the Federated Church in Hudson. Burial will be in the Hudson Cemetery.
