CEDAR FALLS — Frances Arlene Hundley, 93, of Cedar Falls, died Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2012, at Covenant Medical Center, Waterloo.

She was born Sept. 10, 1919, in Cedar Falls, daughter of Elmer and Muriel Jaquis Corwin, and after the death of her mother when she was 4, was raised by her Grandma and Grandpa Corwin. On Jan. 20, 1938, she married Leo G. Hundley at First Evangelical Church, Cedar Falls. He died Aug. 4, 1993.

Following her schooling, she helped families in the Cedar Falls and New Hartford area with house cleaning, babysitting and general home chores. Later she and her husband farmed various farms south of Finchford, west of Shell Rock and north of Waverly, before settling at their rural Cedar Falls farm in 1960. She attended Trinity Wesleyan Church, Cedar Falls, and Finchford Community Bible Church.

Survived by three sons, Kenny (Edna Mae) of Sumter, S.C.; Dennis (Ellen) of Cedar Falls and Jim (Candy) of Waverly; two daughters, Judy (Tim) Knudsen and Carolyn (Larry) Donlon, both of Cedar Falls; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a half sister, Laura Fuller of Boise, Idaho.

Preceded in death by two sisters, Vera Adams and Helen Beth Fenstimaker.

Services: 10 a.m. Saturday at Finchford Community Bible Church, Finchford, with burial in Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Cedar Falls. Visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home, Waverly.
