CEDAR FALLS - Bonnie L. Haurum, 91, of Cedar Falls, died Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2005, at the Western Home Communities Elizabeth Martin Health Center.

She was born Sept. 6, 1914, in Winthrop, daughter of Joseph and Stella Smith. She married Alvin Haurum April 14, 1964, in Waterloo. He preceded her in death Aug. 21, 2000.

Mrs. Haurum was a secretary and homemaker for many years.

Survived by a sister, Ramona Smith of Waterloo; a stepson, Nicholas Haurum of Waterloo; a stepdaughter, Sue Ann Alger of Galveston, Texas; and a stepgranddaughter and step-great-granddaughter.

Services: 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Western Home Communities Chapel, with burial in Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens. Friends may call for an hour before services Friday at the chapel. Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

She was born September 6, 1914 in Winthrop, Iowa, the daughter of Joseph and Stella Smith.
Bonnie married Alvin Haurum on April 14, 1964 in Waterloo, Iowa. He preceded her in death on August 21, 2000. Bonnie was a secretary and homemaker for many years.

Survivors include a sister, Ramona Smith, of Waterloo; step-son, Nicholas Haurum, of Waterloo; a step-daughter, Sue Ann Alger, of Galveston, Texas; a step-granddaughter, Vicky Skillman and step-great-granddaughter, Britney Skillman; and a niece, Betty (Charles) Clark.

Funeral services were 1:30 pm Friday, September 9, 2005, at the Western Home Communities Chapel, with interment at Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens, both in Cedar Falls.
