WATERLOO - David John Kelley, 33, of Waterloo, died Friday, March 31, 2006, at Covenant Medical Center of cancer.

He was born Dec. 30, 1972, in Waterloo, son of John M. and Marjorie Ann Priest Kelley. He married Angella Smith June 6, 1998, at Central Christian Church, Waterloo.

He attended Kingsley and Orange elementary, Hoover intermediate and was a 1991 graduate of West High. He attended Kirkwood Community College, Cedar Rapids, and then returned to Waterloo and began work with Martinson Construction. In his spare time Dave loved to golf and do anything that included sports, watching or playing, both he loved.

Survived by his wife; a daughter, Brooke; his parents, Dr. John and Marjorie Kelley of Waterloo; a sister, Shari (Steve) Hahn of Davenport; a brother, SFC Michael C. (Dione) Kelley of Lawton, Okla.; maternal grandmother, Wilma Priest; and many other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Clifton and Eleanor Kelley; and his maternal grandfather, Fredrick Priest.

Services: 10 a.m. Tuesday at Waterloo Worship Center, with burial in Waterloo Cemetery. Public visitation from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Parrott and Wood Chapel of Memories, an Overton Family Service.
