WATERLOO — Marlys K. Judas, 91, of Waterloo, died Friday, Dec 14, 2012, at Ravenwood Health Care Center.

She was born Nov. 10, 1921, in Waterloo and was adopted by Arthur and Merle Tarpenning Jensen. She married Arnold P. Judas on Aug. 1, 1959, at Little Brown Church, Nashua.

She played piano, sang and whistled on local amateur hour shows and played for local children’s dance teams as a teen. In her twenties she played and taught accordion. Mrs. Judas also played piano at the Waterloo Airport Restaurant/Lounge.

Survived by her husband; two sons, Donald (Catherine) Dahlgaard of Norton, Mass., and Charles (Diane) Dahlgaard of Waterloo; a daughter, Patricia Thompson of Evansdale; 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by a grandson, Jeff Thompson.

Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday at Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel on Kimball, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and an hour before services Tuesday, both at the funeral home.
