WATERLOO — Robert Gronowski, 72, of Riverside, formerly of Waterloo, died Friday, Dec. 7, 2012, at Pioneer Park Nursing Home, Lone Tree.

He was born Nov. 19, 1940, in Waterloo, son of Roman and Jacqueline Petersen Gronowski.

Mr. Gronowski served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.

Survived by special friend Sharee Owens of Ainsworth; three brothers, Richard (Joe) of Cedar Falls and Ronnie (Sharon) and Leon (Debbie), both of Waterloo; and a sister, Janice Molloy of Riverside.

Graveside services: 2 p.m. Saturday at Riverside Public Cemetery, with full military rites by Riverside VFW Post 6414. Sorden-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services, Riverside, is in charge of arrangements.

Memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in his name.
