Edyth Grove Mosher, 88, died Oct. 19, 2012, in Roswell, N.M.

She was born March 20, 1924, in Waterloo, to J. E. and Edyth Grove.

She graduated from East High School. She married Roger A. Mosher in 1946 at the Little Brown Church in Nashua. They had one son, Joel. She was instructed by the Red Cross in Civil Defense, then volunteered at the local hospital. She worked as a secretary/clerk for Uban Oil for many years.

When Roger retired from the Waterloo Police Department in 1977, they moved to Roswell N.M., where Edyth volunteered at the Eastern New Mexico Medical Center for 31 years.

Edyth was preceded in death by five brothers and a sister. She is survived by her son, Joel, of Altadena, Calif.

Her body was cremated and no services will be held, as per her wishes.

Arrangements are under the direction of Anderson-Bethany Funeral Home and Crematory.
