WATERLOO — Joseph D. Marr, 53, of Waterloo, died at home Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012.

He was born July 3, 1959, in Waterloo, son of George and Eileen Schowalter Marr. He married Diane M. Jaschen on Dec. 8, 2000, in Waterloo.

He graduated from Columbus High School in 1978 and Loras College in 1983. Mr. Marr owned and operated Floor Decor in Waterloo.

Survived by his wife; three brothers: Merrill (Carol) and Mike, both of Waterloo, and Dan (Julie) of Marrietta, Ga.; two sisters, Kay (Thomas) Royer of Marrietta, and Donna (Tom) Powers of Waterloo; and a sister-in-law, Sheri Hopkins-Marr of Chandler, Ariz.

Preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, John.

Memorial services: 11 a.m. Monday at St. Edward’s Catholic Church, where the family will receive friends immediately following the Mass. Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway is assisting the family.
