WATERLOO — Keith A. Magalsky, 84, of Waterloo, died Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012, at Landmark Commons.

He was born Sept. 15, 1928, in Tunbridge, Vt., son of Alexander and Hope Howe Magalsky. He married Shirley Weiss on March 31, 1956, in Edgington, Ill.

He graduated from South Royalton High School in 1946, and received a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Vermont in Burlington, in 1951. Mr. Magalsky served in the U.S. Army from 1951-1953 and was a development engineer at John Deere PEC, retiring in 1985. He was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church.

Survived by his wife; two daughters, Teresa (Dan) Walden of Sulphur Rock, Ark., and Susan (Jon) Nephew of Spring Hill, Tenn.; two sons, Kevin (Marty) of Juneau, Wis., and Mark of Crystal Beach, Fla.; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a sister, Margaret (Steve) Elliott of Door County, Wis.

Memorial services: 11 a.m. Wednesday at Westminster Presbyterian Church. Visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Locke Funeral Home.
