Elizabeth R. "Elsie" Wehmeyer of Lancaster, PA died September 26, 2007 at Lancaster Regional Medical Center in Lancaster PA.

Elsie was born April 6, 1913 in Newark, NJ the daughter of Karl and Bertha Holfelder Reister.

She married Henry H. Wehmeyer August 20, 1938 in Newark, NJ. He died November 14 1977. She was a homemaker. Elsie resided in Waterloo IA from 1966-1993. She lived in Lancaster with her daughter for the past 14 years.

Survivors include a son Paul H. Wehmeyer of Hackensack, NJ, two daughters, Barbara Yabor of North Hills, CA, and Geraldine (Russel) Skiles of Lancaster, PA; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and one step-great-grandchild.

Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Mt. Olivet Cemetery with public visitation one hour before at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street. The family will also have a Celebration of Life Service in Pennsylvania at a later date.
