Robert "Bob" Lynch, 48, of Evansdale died Friday February 13, 2009 at Parkview Nursing and Rehab Center of cancer.

He was born May 25, 1960 in Waterloo, the son of Edward and Catherine E. May Lynch.

He married Vicki McClain Lown on September 8 1995 in Waterloo He graduated from Columbus High School in 1978. He was employed as a Truck Driver for Bertch Cabinet Mfg. for 14 years until taking a medical retirement.

Survivors include his wife of Evansdale; his mother Catherine of Waterloo; a son Jason Lown of Chicago; a daughter Shelly (Doug) Steva of Waterloo; one granddaughter Mariah Steva; 19 nieces and nephews; a brother Steve (Virginia) Lynch of Waterloo; four sisters: Mary (Don) Mulvey of Irving, Texas, Cathy (Russ) Wendel of Clarion; Joanne (Dave) Roche of Waterloo; Carol (Kevin) Patterson of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by his father and a brother Joseph.

Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery Waterloo. Public visitation from 4 to 8 pm Tuesday at the Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway were there will be a 4 p.m. rosary and 7 p.m. Vigil. Visitation also one hour prior to services at the church on Wednesday
Memorials may be directed to the family.

Bob was an avid outdoorsmans who enjoyed hunting fishing and camping and was a craftsman to anyone who needed a project completed.
