WATERLOO - Mary M. Wagner, 73, of Waterloo, died Monday, Nov. 5, 2012, at Allen Hospital.

She was born Oct. 23, 1939, in Waterloo, daughter of Ross and Viola Junk Caldwell. She married Dean Wagner on Sept. 17, 1960, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Waterloo.

Mrs. Wagner graduated from St. Mary's High School in 1957. She was a homemaker for many years, then worked at Kwik Star on Fletcher Avenue until her retirement.

Survived by her husband; a son, Dean Ray II (Robbie) of Evansdale; seven daughters: Roxanna (Mario) Parecki and Deb (Todd) Borwig, both of Denver, Carol Warm of Waterloo, Ann Wagner of Nashua, Julie (Brian) Lawrence of Springville, Glenda (Mike) Harms of Cedar Rapids and Melissa (Doug) Wolters of Rockton, Ill.; 23 grandchildren, Chad, Jack, Deana, Larissa, Emily, Josh, Corey, Ashley, Travis, Cortney, Mark, Mitchel, Jessica, Jordan, Brandon, Victoria, Adam, Justin, Grace, Connor, Bailey, Tylor and Cole; 11 great-grandchildren, Isaiah, Devan, Danali, Kaleb, Ashlynn, Hezekiah, Braelyn, Chloe, Brooklynn, Ayden and Savanah; also Derek, Ryan and T.J. Sallis and Eli and Kylar Sallis; and three sisters: Pat Barron of Grant's Pass, Ore., Georgia (Russell) Bley of Washburn and Rose Dobbs of Cedar Falls.

Preceded in death by two brothers, Vincent and Richard Caldwell.

Services: 10 a.m. Friday at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway, with a 4 p.m. Legion of Mary rosary and a 7 p.m. vigil service. Visitation also an hour before services Friday at the church.

Memorials may be directed to the family.
