WATERLOO - Corrine J. Hegenbarth, 64, of Pahrump, Nev., formerly of Waterloo, died suddenly Friday, Nov. 2, 2012, while visiting in Waterloo.

She was born July 12, 1948, in Sisseton, S.D., daughter of Robert Kenneth and Mertha "Mickie" Weinkauf Pavin. She married Thomas E. Hegenbarth on Aug. 17, 1974, in Waterloo.

She graduated from Waterloo East High School in 1966. Mrs. Hegenbarth was formerly employed by the Isle of Capri Casino, Waterloo, and E.P.I. Inc. She was an associate on the Foster Care Review Board in Waterloo and an ardent supporter of the Black Hawks Hockey Team. She was a former member of Grace Lutheran Church, Waterloo. She and her husband moved to Pahrump in 2011.

Survived by her husband; three sons, Jon (Becky) of Belle Plaine, Minn., Rob (Kristi) of Sheldon and Dave (Sherry) of Waterloo; four grandchildren, Jeffrey, Jayden, Jaxon and Thomas; two brothers, Robert (Sandy R.) Pavin of Wataga, Ill., and David (Wilma) Pavin of Zion, Ill.

Preceded in death by her parents.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel and for an hour before services Thursday at the church.

Corrine enjoyed reading, cooking and baking.
