DENVER — Glenn Asher Walton, 90, of Denver, formerly of Waterloo, died Sunday, Oct. 21, 2012, at Allen Hospital, Waterloo.

He was born Sept. 20, 1922, near Troy Mills, son of Frank and Lydia Sauer Walton. He married Maxine Fulton on Oct. 15, 1943, in Waterloo. She died Nov. 22, 1988. He married Polly Heideman on Oct. 22, 2000, in Janesville. She died Sept. 5, 2012.

Mr. Walton farmed, drove a Waterloo city bus for nine years, then worked for Priebe Brothers Oil Co., retiring in 1985 after 28 years.

Survived by two sons, Craig (Debbie) of Waterloo and Kim (Marty) of Waverly; two stepdaughters, Judy (James) Finnessy and Sharon (Gordon) Mueller; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren; four stepgreat-grandchildren; and a brother, Paul (Lorraine).

Preceded in death by a granddaughter; a brother, Grant; and two sisters, Lois Morrison and Ardyce Wilson.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Good Shepherd Chapel at Bartels Lutheran Retirement Community, Waverly, with burial in Garden of Memories, Waterloo. Visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home, Waverly, and also for an hour before services Thursday at the chapel.

Memorials may be directed to St. Peter Lutheran Church, Denver, or Bartels Lutheran Retirement Community.
