CEDAR FALLS — Audrey Florence Wee, 86, of Cedar Falls, died Thursday, Oct. 25, 2012, at NewAldaya Lifescapes.

She was born Aug. 19, 1926, in Des Moines, daughter of John Judson and Lucy Thea Eschelman Shackelford. She married Duane A. Wee on Aug. 14, 1950, in Des Moines. He died in 2003.

She worked in the family home, taking care of their four children.

Survived by a son, Michael Duane of Greene; three daughters: Debra Jeanne Wee, Rebecca Anne Wee and Kathleen Thea (John) Martin, all of Waterloo; three sisters: Margaret Courter of Des Moines, Lois Prince of Dunellson, Fla., and Francis Drake of Indianola; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by two brothers, Earnest Shakelford, and Charles Eugene Shackelford in infancy; a sister, Barbara Brook; and three miscarried grandchildren.

Services: 2 p.m. Tuesday at Westminster Presbyterian Church, Waterloo, with burial in Waterloo Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Parrott & Wood Chapel of Memories, an Overton Family Service, Waterloo.
