CEDAR FALLS — Penny Lynn Burroughs, 61, of Cedar Falls, died Sunday, Oct. 21, 2012, at Allen Hospital, Waterloo.

She was born Oct. 7, 1951, in Waterloo, daughter of Milton “Casey” and Joan Melcher McCraney. She married Lance J. Burroughs on June 6, 1970, in Waterloo.

Survived by her husband; a daughter, Sherry (Dallas) Sands of Evansdale; her mother of Evansdale; two brothers, Donald (Dawn) McCraney of Evansdale and Joseph (Cindy) McCraney of Waterloo; and three sisters: LuAnn (Leroy) Smith, Lori Trainor and Jamie Pucket, all of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by her father; and a sister, Kevin Diane Brown.

Memorial services: 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1530 Pleasant Valley Drive, Waterloo, preceded by an hour of visitation. Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
