CEDAR FALLS — Larry L. Carroll, 68, of Cedar Falls, died Friday, Oct. 19, at his home.

He was born June 15, 1944, in Lima, Ohio, son of John and Farrell Swauger Carroll. He married Chun Cha Kim June 17, 1966, in Korea.

Mr. Carroll served in the U.S. Air Force in Korea from 1966-1970. He was an insurance adjustor for I.M.T. Insurance for 20 years, retiring in 1998.

Survived by his wife; two sons, Kevin (April) of Derby, Kan., and John (Kimie) of Wilsonville, Ore.; two daughters, Melissa Beattie (Brent Dawson) and Leann (Chris) Putz, both of Waterloo; nine grandchildren; and his mother, Farrell Nelson of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by his father; and a sister, Beverly.

Family graveside services: were held Oct. 20, at Garden of Memories Cemetery, with full military honors. Garden View Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
