WATERLOO — Anna Mae Matt, 66, of Waterloo, died Thursday, Oct. 4, 2012 at Covenant Medical Center in Waterloo.

She was born June 8, 1946, in Cumberland, W.V., daughter of Kurtis and Geraldine Parks Sparks. She married Henry F. Matt June 11, 1994, in Cedar Falls.

She was a homemaker.

Survived by her husband; five daughters: Shelly (Harold) Matt, Karla (Mike) Matt and Jenny (Chad) Borwig, all of Evansdale, Rose (Greg) Jensen of Bitely, Mich., and Karen Riggs of Waterloo; two sons, Curt (Linda) Sparks and Ronnie (Katie) Riggs of Waterloo; 16 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two sisters, Ruby Jane Sparks of Vinton and Mary Jo (Dan) Moore of Waterloo; and two brothers, Wayne (Mikki) Sparks of Waterloo and Rex (Patty) Sparks of Cedar Rapids.

Preceded in death by a brother, Garland Sparks.

Celebration of life: 1 to 5 p.m. today at Cedar Falls Eagles, 2125 W. Lone Tree Road, with inurnment at a later date in Hillside Cemetery, Cedar Falls.
