CEDAR FALLS - Mary Jane Gram, 76, of Cedar Falls, died Tuesday, Oct. 2, at the Western Home.

She was born Aug. 19, 1936, in Waterloo, daughter of George and Lela Lathrop Metcalf. She married Garrold Leighton Gram on Jan. 17, 1962, in Waterloo.

She was a licensed practical nurse with Allen Hospital in Waterloo for more than 48 years.

Survived by her husband; three sons, Joseph (Debi) of Cedar Falls, Jeffrey and James; two daughters, Julie (Jeff) Cooper and Janice Gram, all of Cedar Falls; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; four sisters, Dee (Jerry) Daniels, Linda (Dick) Schaffer, Denise Neilson and Janelle (Ron) Kephart; and four brothers, Bill (Karen) Metcalf, Ron (Becky) Metcalf, Neil Metcalf and Jack (Judy) Metcalf.

Celebration of life: will be from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday in the East Solarium at Western Home Communities, Cedar Falls.

Memorials: may be directed to the family.

Mary enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
