Bertha Angeline Schaefer, 92, of Waterloo, died Monday, July 2, 2007 at Ravenwood Nursing & Rehab Center.

She was born September 11, 1914 in Eagle Center, daughter of John Jacob and Catherine Anna Siebel Schaefer.

Bertha was employed with John Deere for 30 years.

She is survived by a nephew, Leon C. (Carol) Taylor of Cedar Falls, and three nieces: Lillian Frost, Joyce (Tom) McCarville, and Elaine (Kelsey) Ames, all of Waterloo.

Preceded by a sister, Mary L. Henderson.

Services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday July 5 at Sacred Heart Catholic with burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Public visitation will be from 5:00 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday at Hagarty Waychoff Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway and for an hour before services at the church on Thursday. Memorials may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
