Robert W. Andorf, 79, of Overland Park, Kansas and formerly of Cedar Falls, died Wednesday, February 21, 2007, at the Kansas City Hospice House in Kansas City, Missouri.

He was born March 12, 1927 in Hudson, Iowa, Iowa, the son of William and Sophia (Brandhorst) Andorf.

Robert married Shirley Warren on September 5, 1981 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Cedar Falls. He was a farmer and worked at the University of Northern Iowa, retiring in 1991.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley Andorf, of Overland Park, Kansas; three daughters, Cheryl (Doug) Dvorak of Overland Park, Kansas, Nancy (George) Meyer of Apollo Beach, Flordia, and Theresa (Rick) Geving of Overland Park, Kansas; six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren, and a brother, Earl Andorf, of Lodi, California.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, seven sisters, Alvina Wilson, Emilie Caldwell, Ruth Freel, Louise Andorf, Martha Hightower, Dora Petri and Elsie Straube, and three brothers, Theodore, Chris and LeRoy Andorf.

Funeral services will be 11:00 am Monday, February 26, 2007, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, with interment at Greenwood Cemetery, both in Cedar Falls. Visitation will be 3—7:00 pm Sunday at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, where a 7:00 pm Vigil Service will be conducted. Visitation also one hour before service at the church.
