Joseph E. Henry, 44, of 142 Rachael St., died Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2000, at Covenant Medical Center emergency room of a heart attack.

He was born Nov. 27, 1955, in Seattle, Wash., son of George R. and Lupe Lara Henry Sr. He married Brenda K. Cowert on Nov. 27, 1982, in Columbus, Ga.

Mr. Henry received a bachelor's degree in history and had served as a Major in the U.S. Army. He was senior operations manager for Ryder Integrated Logistics.

Survived by his wife; a son, Bryan of Waterloo; his parents of Marysville, Wash.; and two brothers, George Robert Jr. of Edmonds, Wash., and James of Lynnwood, Wash.

Services: 5 p.m. today at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway, with burial in Columbus.
