CEDAR FALLS - Anna F. Pierce, 93, of Western Home Martin Center, died there Tuesday, Dec. 29, 1998, of natural causes.

She was born Jan. 17, 1905, in Bangor, daughter of Boyd and Ethleen Davis Carey. She married Roscoe Jackson Pierce on Nov. 16, 1925, in Ames. He died April 11, 1983.

Survived by a son, Roscoe L. of Cedar Falls; a daughter, Mary E. Fosse of Cedar Falls; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by two sisters, Maxine Carey and Willian Jones; two half sisters, Lucille Funk and Helen Sneider; and an infant half brother.

Services: 1:30 p.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church, Cedar Falls, with burial in Rosehill Cemetery, Grundy Center. Friends may call for an hour before services Thursday at the church. Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
