WATERLOO — Frances Mary Sprio-Neith, 87, formerly of Waterloo, died Aug. 22, 2012, in Antioch, Calif.

She was born Dec. 4, 1924, in Waterloo, daughter of Carmen and Phyllis Sprio. She married Donald Neith on May 2, 1942.

Survived by her husband; eight children; two sisters, Mildred Multhauf of Waterloo and Rose Chrasta of Cedar Falls; and a brother, Joseph Sprio of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by three sisters: Alphonsa Paragoris, Josephine Lamendola and Kathryn Marquardt; and a brother, Carl.

Services were Aug. 30 in Oakmont Memorial Park, Clayton, Calif.
