WATERLOO - Gale T. Haberling, 51, of Marana, Ariz., formerly of Waterloo, died Sunday, Dec. 27, 1998, at Northwest Hospital, Tucson, of natural causes.

He was born April 11, 1947, in Waverly, son of Theodore and Norma Baker Haberling. He was a machinst for the mining industry.

Survived by a daughter, Tracy Nickel; a son, Jason; five grandchildren; two sisters, Kay Simerson of Waterloo and Rosemary Krep; and his fiancee, Judy Stro Hecker of Tucson.

Services: will be private. Carrillo's Tucson Mortuary Inc., Tucson, is in charge of arrangements.
