James F. Gall, 70, of Waterloo, died Thursday August 23, 2012 at Covenant Medical Center.

He was born September 24, 1941, in Rock Island, Ill, the son of James and Irene O’Connell Gall.

James served in the United States Air Force. He was employed at Wal Mart in the sporting goods department until becoming disabled.

Survivors include four sons: Jay of Cape Cod, Mass, Chad of North Carolina, Brett of Massachutes, and Michael of Georgia; several grandchildren; two brothers, Ron (Cynthia) of Katy, Texas and Greg (Margaret) of Kansas City, MO; four sisters: Mary (Curt) Sanders of Morrison, MO, Elizabeth Gower of Thornton, Colo, Nancy (Sanford) Knapp of Mesa, Ariz; and Catherine (Bob Miner) Hansen of Denver, Colo.

Preceded in death by a son, Dana Gall.

Graveside Services: 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Full military rites will be conducted by the Waterloo Amvets Post 19 and Evansdale Amvets Post 31. Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway is in charge of arrangements.
