WATERLOO — Chad David Hickman, 35, of McGregor, formerly of Waterloo, died Sunday, Aug. 26, 2012 as a result of an auto accident near Rossville.

He was born April 18, 1977, in Waterloo, son of David and Lisa Rust Hickman.

Mr. Hickman graduated from Waterloo East High School and was employed by Guttenberg Industries Inc., Garnavillo.

Survived by a son, Dylan of Waterloo; his parents of Garnavillo; a brother, Jason of Grapevine, Texas; maternal grandfather, Russell Rust of Garnavillo; maternal grandmother, Gerda Hirsch of Elk Run Heights; special friend, Amanda Ward; and many other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Hickman.

Memorial service: 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Garnavillo, preceded by an hour of visitation, with burial in Garnavillo Community Cemetery. The Rev. Wayne Ellingson will be offi ciating. Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Garnavillo, is in
charge of arrangements.
