Lucille M. Lee, February 8, 1930 - December 28, 2006

Lucille M. Lee, 76, of Waterloo died Thursday at her home of natural causes. She was born February 8, 1930 in Watkins, IA, the daughter of Orron and Angeline Boddicker Kelly.

She married Wallace Diekmann on June 16, 1951 in Marion. He died April 23 1972. She married Dean Lee June 23, 1974 in Waterloo. She received her Masters in Education from the University of Northern Iowa.

Mrs. Lee was employed with the Waterloo Community School District as a teacher for 23 years and a principal for 15 years at Cityview Elementary Roosevelt Elementary Castlehill Elementary and Edison Elementary where she retired in 1989.

Survivors include her husband; three sisters: Margaret Clemmens of Norridge, IL, Sharon LaBelle of Waukegon, IL, and Cathy (Ed) Fesenmyer of Schererville, Indiana; a brother-in-law Fred Pieper of Tama; also many nieces nephews great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her first husband; a brother Jack Kelly; a sister Helen Pieper; two brothers-in-law, Jim Clemmens and Bob LaBelle; and a great nephew, Steve Waterberry.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church with burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Public visitation will be from 5:00 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday at Hagarty Waychoff Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway where there will be a 7 p.m. vigil service. Visitation will continue for one hour prior to services at the church on Wednesday.
