Paul A. Schreiber, Sr., age 71, of Waterloo, Iowa, died Friday, December 22, 2006 at the Cedar Falls Lutheran Home. He was born on March 2, 1935, in Dysart, Iowa, the son of Kenneth and Margaret (Dage) Schreiber.

He married Mary M. Beelner on October 13, 1953, in Waterloo. She died May 26, 2004.

Mr. Schreiber had been employed for 42 years with Walnut Dairy, Titus Manufacturing, Chamberlain Manufacturing, and John Deere Waterloo Tractor Works, retiring in 1995. He was Past President of the Fraternal Order Of Eagles.

Survivors include two sons, Paul Jr. (Margorie) of Waterloo, and Andrew (Jennifer) of Cedar Falls; two daughters, Carmen (Richard Davenport) Huber of West Des Moines, and Denise (Kent) George of Waterloo; five grandchildren: Randy Kollmann Jr., Greg Kollmann, Paul A. Schreiber III, Jordyn Schreiber, and Andrea Schreiber; two sisters, Mary Ann Cooney and Donna Schreiber, both of Waterloo; and four brothers: Robert (Melva) and Richard (Judy), both of Waterloo, Keith (Judy) of Marion, and George (Carol) of Wainwright Oklahoma; and a special friend, Dona Anderson of Waterloo.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Queen Of Peace Catholic Church, with inurnment in Garden Of Memories Cemetery. Public visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street, where there will be a 6 p.m. Fraternal Order Of Eagles service and a 7:30 p.m. vigil service.

Memorials may be directed to Cedar Valley Hospice.
