WATERLOO — Grace Amelia Landsteiner Vogt, 78, of Waterloo, died Thursday, June 28, at Ravenwood Nursing & Rehab Center of natural causes.

She was born Feb. 15, 1934, in Fairmont, Minn., daughter of Joseph and Edith DeEtta Drew Landsteiner. She married Edward Thomas Vogt Nov. 28, 1953, in Fairmont, Minn. He died Jan. 30, 2003.

She graduated from Fairmont High School and attended Mankato Business College in Mankato, Minn. She was employed with Kraft Foods, Chamberlains, Sears and Waterloo Community Schools.

Survived by two sons, Thomas Edward (Mary) of Waterloo and Douglas (Cindy) Edward Vogt of South Carolina; four grandchildren, Josh (Crystal), Jessica (Justin), Christian and Zachary Vogt; three great-grandchildren, Ethan, Lily and Hailey; three sisters, DeEtta Lisk of Twin Falls, Idaho, Margaret Anderson of Excelsior, Minn., and Lucille (Teelee) Welsh of Waterloo; and many nephews and nieces.

Preceded in death by a brother, Leo Landsteiner; and two sisters, Alice Cornelius and Joan Genrich.

Private family service: will be held at a later date, with burial in Elmwood Cemetery, Waterloo. Parrott & Wood Chapel of Memories, Waterloo, is assisting the family.
