CEDAR FALLS — Fredrick Wendell Heidemann, 65, formerly of Cedar Falls, died June 22 in Azle, Texas.

He was born April 26, 1947, in Cedar Falls, son of Wendell F. and Doris A. Heidemann.

Survived by his wife, Karen; a daughter, Tracy; a son, Danny; five sisters: Jean A. (Larry) Sackett and Doris A. (James) Jansen, both of Cedar Falls, Merri L. (Golden) Reninger and Alice J. Franklin, both of Weatherford, Texas, and Rosalie M. (John) Hiatt of Warrensburg, Mo.; and two brothers, John R. (Sue) of Davenport and Joseph T. of Waverly.

Preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Nancy J. Christensen; and brother, Jerald H.

Services were held in Texas.
