WATERLOO, IA - Margaret Peg Frost of Waterloo, formerly of Fairbank died Monday November 27, 2006, at the Affinity Home.

She was born April 25, 1914 in Barclay Township daughter of Albert & Martha Hayes Schmitt.

She married Joseph M. Frost on April 28, 1943 at St. Francis Barclay. He died December 14, 1977. Peg was a homemaker and also farmed with her husband in the Raymond Eagle Center and Fairbank areas.

Survivors include three sons: Gary Frost of Waterloo, John (Susan) Frost and Fred (Leslie) Frost, both of Fairbank; three daughters: Judy (Allen) Heber, Janice (Larry) Csukker, and Patti (Rick) Thompson, all of Waterloo; eight grandchildren: Becky (Ryan) Stremlow, Linsay and Sarah Csukker, Jessica (Chad) Brown, Gina (Ted) Gehrke, Samantha Holly, and Joseph Frost; five great-grandchildren: Nathan, Noah, Rachel, & Elijah Gehrke, and Jack Stremlow, three step-grandchildren: Marcy Baumann, Lori Mattson, & Leah Lee; three brothers: Robert Schmitt of Raymond, Edmund Ed and Albert Schmitt both of Dewar.

Preceded by two brothers, Roger (Mary) Schmitt and Raymond (Betty) Schmitt; one grandson, Seth Thompson an infant son, Joseph Jr., and a sister-in-law, Mary Schmitt.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church with burial at St. Josephs Cemetery, Raymond, following the lunch at Blessed Sacrament. Friends may call from 3-8 pm Wednesday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street where there will be a Catholic Daughters of Americas rosary at 4 p.m. and a vigil at 7 p.m. Visitation will also take place for an hour preceding services at the church on Thursday.

Memorials may be made to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
