CEDAR FALLS - Andrew C. Muller, 90, of Cedar Falls, died Monday, May 21, 2012 at Allen Hospital, Waterloo.

He was born Oct. 9, 1921, in Grundy County, son of Klaas and Annie Eiklenburg Muller. He married Lois M. Peters on Oct. 4, 1943, in Lancaster, Mo. She died Nov. 14, 2011.

Mr. Muller graduated from Dike High School in 1940 and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was employed with the Cedar Falls Post Office from 1947 to 1955, then worked at John Deere Tractor Works for 31 years, retiring in 1984. He was a member of First United Methodist Church and American Legion Post 237, both of Cedar Falls.

Survived by a son, Roger (Janean) of Levan, Utah; two daughters, Marlene (Rodger) Kruger and Diane Muller, both of Cedar Falls; a grandson and three great-grandsons, all of Colorado; three step-grandchildren and seven step-great-grandchildren, all of Utah; a great-great-grandson; two brothers, Merlyn (Kathryn) of Aplington and Wilbur (Joy) of Grundy Center; a sister, Grace Stahl of Grundy Center; a sister-in-law, Lorraine Muller of Cedar Falls; and a brother-in-law, Dick Betts of Reinbeck.

Preceded in death by a brother, Fred; a sister, Annie Betts; and a great-granddaughter, Maisy Jane Muller.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday at First United Methodist Church, with burial in Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens. Military honors will be conducted by Cedar Falls AMVETS Post 49. Visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Richardson Funeral Service, and for an hour before services Friday at the church.

Memorials may be directed to the church.

Andrew enjoyed coin collecting, traveling, garage sales, and time spent with family and friends.
