WATERLOO — Virginia M. Peters, 83, of Waterloo, died Friday, April 27, 2012 at Lakeview Landing of natural causes.

She was born Oct. 17, 1928, in Mallard, daughter of Robert and Anna Kendal. She married Clyde Peters on Oct. 12, 1970. He died May 15, 1993.

Survived by two stepdaughters-in-law, Beverly Peters of Fayetteville, Pa., and Patricia Peters of Weston, Ma.; four grandchildren, Richard and Michael Peters of Maryland and Matthew and Allison Peters of Massachusetts; and three sisters, Pearl Hood of Mallard, Genevieve Reinders of Emmetsburg and Frances Wills of Minnesota.

Preceded in death by two stepsons, Richard and David Peters.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, with entombment in Mount Olivet Mausoleum. Visitation from 4 to 6 p.m. today at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street, where there will be a 4 p.m. rosary. Visitation also for an hour before services Thursday at the church.
