WATERLOO, IOWA - Thomas Eugene Houdek, 54, of Waterloo, died Thursday, June 14, 2012, at Covenant Medical Center following a lengthy illness.

He was born October 9, 1957, in Waterloo, son of Leo Waterman and Elizabeth Houdek. He married Kathy Ackerman on June 19, 1984, in Waterloo.

He is survived by his wife; two sons, Christopher and Roman; a daughter, Tammy; and two brothers, Ron (Cathy) and Don.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday at Crossroads Assembly of God, 3205 Bethel St., Waterloo, preceded by an hour of visitation, followed by a luncheon at Cedar Valley Community Support Services Club House, 616 Allen St., Waterloo.

Memorials may be directed to the family, in care of daughter Tammy Houdek, 1211 Langley Road, Apt. 1, Waterloo 50702.
