WATERLOO, IOWA - Randall Ray "Randy" Dicken, 52, of Chatham, Ill., formerly of Waterloo, died Friday, June 15, 2012, after an automobile accident near Nashville, Tennessee.

He was born June 18, 1959, in Waterloo, son of Bobbie Lee and Alta Rose Leistikow Dicken. He married Gayla Sue Ellis on August 18, 1979.

Mr. Dicken attended the Business Institute of Technology, Waterloo. He managed a Wendy's restaurant in Arizona and restaurants in Decatur, before settling in Chatham and working as the assistant manager of the Cracker Barrel in Springfield, Illinois.

He is survived by his wife; a son, Chris (Carol Phillips) of Springfield; a daughter, Rhiannon (John) Sanders of Chatham; his mother of Daytona Beach, Fla.; three grandchildren; and a brother, Curt (Bobbie) of Waterloo.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Funeral services will be Sunday at Staab Polk Memorial Home, Chatham, where visitation begins at 1 p.m. Burial will be in Chatham Memorial Cemetery.
