CEDAR FALLS — Dona M. Ferris, 81, of Cedar Falls, died Thursday, April 19, 2012 at Cedar Valley Hospice Home, Waterloo.

She was born Nov. 25, 1930, in Waterloo, daughter of Everett and Margie Loy Hilton. She married Dwight Ferris on Sept. 1, 1950, in Washington, D.C.

She graduated in 1949 from East High School, Waterloo, and worked for a short time with the Federal Bureau of Investigation in Washington.

Survived by her husband of Cedar Falls; two sons, Dan (Cindy) of Waterloo and Don (Lori) of Marion; two daughters, Vicki (Galen) Beier of Denton, Texas, and Pam (Dennis) Huffman of New Hartford; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Barb (Paul) Mead of New Hartford.

Preceded in death by a brother, Donald Richard Hilton.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at First Christian Church, Cedar Falls, with burial in Garden of Memories, Waterloo. Visitation from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, and for an hour before services Tuesday at the church.

Memorial fund will be established.
