WATERLOO — Mary Lou James, 79, of Waterloo, died Tuesday,Aug. 14, 2012 at Allen Hospital.

She was born Dec. 24, 1932, in Guthrie Center, daughter of Carel and Ruth Reeves Jorgensen. She married Dale C. James on Feb. 22, 1952, in Malvern. He died March 29, 1998.

Survived by three daughters, Dalen (David) Grimm and Cheryl (Jerry) Parsons, both of Waterloo, and Susan Robinson of Evansdale; two sons, Michael and Jeff (Deborah), both of Waterloo; 12 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday at Cedar Valley Community Church, with burial in Waterloo Cemetery. Visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway, and for an hour before services Friday at the church.
