CEDAR FALLS, IA - Edna M. Nagle, 69, of 4809 W. Mount Vernon Road, died Wednesday, April 4, 1990 at Sartori Memorial Hospital of natural causes.

She was born October 3, 1920, in North Washington, daughter of Edward H. and Minnie Wisher Gilbert. She married Rodger B. Nagle on June 6, 1944, in North Washington.

Mrs. Nagle received her bachelor's degree from University of Northern Iowa and taught at St. Patrick's School and at Waterloo Columbus High School, retiring in 1978.

Survivors include her husband. a daughter, Joyce M. Fitkin of Cedar Falls; a grandson; Bradley Brown, Cedar Falls; a brother, Eugene Gilbert of Waterloo; and a sister, Louise Kaderabek of Cresco.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Nancy Lee Nagle; a granddaughter, Jacki Lynn Brown; a sister, Florence Maires; and two brothers, Charles and Kenneth Gilbert.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Friends may call until 9 p.m. today at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, where there will be a 7 p.m. rosary, also from 8 to 9:30 Friday.

A memorial fund will be established.
