Jul. 25--Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier, Iowa, Obituaries Kathleen Bemus (1923-2007)

WATERLOO -- Kathleen Bemus, 84, of Waterloo, died Saturday, July 21, at Covenant Medical Center of natural causes. She was born June 15, 1923, in Waterloo, daughter of Hezikiah "Hap" and Golda Call Dunbar.

She married Lester Bremer, who was killed in World War II. On July 18, 1949, she married Glenn Bemus in Waterloo. He died Nov. 23, 1984.

Survivors include: a daughter, Sue Buban of Belchertown, Mass.; two grandchildren, Todd Wendling and Theresa Craven; and five great-grandchildren, Jimmy, Kyle, Leanna, Piper and Sydni.

Preceded in death by: a grandson, Nick; four sisters; and two brothers.

Services: 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Parrott & Wood Chapel of Memories, an Overton Family Service, with burial in Garden of Memories. Public visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. today at the chapel. Memorials: may be directed to the family. Condolences may be left at www.overtonservice.com.
