Julie A. Haes (1955-2009)

WATERLOO, IOWA - Julie Haes, 54, of Waterloo, died Wednesday, September 16, 2009, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.

She was born August 30, 1955 in Waterloo, Iowa, the daughter of Harold C. and Donna M. (Martin) Fruchtenicht. She graduated from Cedar Falls High School in 1973. She married Jack Haes June 18, 1994 in Dubuque. She and her husband owned Haes Floor Covering.

Survivors include her husband, Jack; son, Chad (Sarah) Martinez of Waterloo, father, Harry Fruchtenicht of Cedar Falls; two brothers, Jerry (Teri) Fruchtenicht of Cedar Falls, and Jeff (Pam) Fruchtenicht of Independence; two sisters, Joni Claussen of Waterloo, and Jill Fruchtenicht of Cedar Falls; step-son, Marc (Cheryl) Haes of Colorado Springs, Colorado; two step-daughters, Caprice (Robert) Leidig of Las Vegas, Nevada and Aimee Haes of Chester, Connecticut; and eight grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her mother.

Services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at Nazareth Evangelical Lutheran Church, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery, both in Cedar Falls. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at Richardson Funeral Home, and for one hour before services Tuesday at the church.
